We do NOT meet in November or December and our May meeting is held on Memorial day with a lunch served afterwards.)

HELPING HOMELESS VETERANS

American Legion Post 23, in conjunction with the Good Deeds Club, KDVA, CBOC, and the VFW are helping the homeless veterans find and move into apartments.  We have been involved with placing several men, women, and families in a safe, warm facility that they can call home.  We also have given them microwaves, TVs, and other new/used household items to help them start their new beginning.

If you would like to donate to help in this endeavor, please call Jim Manley, Finance Officer, American Legion, Post 23.
